The Refuge exists to renew lives and equip individuals to live healthier and happier lives. We affect generations by strengthening individuals to lead their families and their center of influence. Prayer support is established for you prior to, during and following your retreat experience. Prayer helps to separate old patterns of thinking and performance while reinforcing God-centered instruction recieved at the Refuge. Amenities
The Refuge is created to immerse you in an atmosphere of rest, recreation and restoration. Menues are custom-tailored to meet allergy and other health requirements. Handicap provisions are available upon request, and retreats are non-smoking. Designated smoking areas are established outside.
Leisure Activities

Nature walks and hiking. Enjoy the splendor of 780 acres inside Palo Duro Canyon. Well-groomed trails and rugged terrain alike accomodate a variety of physical abilities.

Biking. Mountain bikes let you explore the canyon at your own pace.

Jeep tours. Available upon request for those looking for a more relaxed way to explore the canyon.

Paddle boats and row boats. For relaxing exercise on one of five lakes within the canyon.

View Larger Map The refuge is located just 15 minutes southwest of Rick Husband International Airport in Amarillo, Texas. American, Southwest and Continental Airlines serve the airport. We're also within 10 miles of interstates 40 and 27. The retreat is situated on the rim of America's second largest canyon, the Palo Duro Canyon.
